Life Science Seminar 2009
UPDATE 18 DECEMBER 2008 Hoffmann · Eitle is going to hold its Life Science Seminar concerning recent issues and developments in patent law regarding the life sciences in Munich from June 29 to July 1, 2009.

The Life Science Seminar 2009 is intended to inform our clients and colleagues about the newest developments in the IP field of life science. Especially in life science, which in many cases is associated with high costs for development and protection of new products and prevention of unjustified claims of competitors, it is advantageous to know the current practice and the modern jurisprudence of the patent offices and the courts, respectively. All Hoffmann · Eitle seminar speakers are experienced national patent attorneys and/or European patent attorneys who have handled a multitude of proceedings before the patent offices and courts.
The seminar will include the following topics:

Euro Law Course 2009
UPDATE - 18 DECEMBER 2008 Hoffmann · Eitle's biennial seminar on general topics regarding European patent law, including recent issues and developments, will take place from September 24 to October 2, 2009.

The "Euro Law Course" has been established as a regular seminar held by Hoffmann · Eitle in a biennial fashion. The seminar language is English.

In addition, the seminar will include separate claim drafting workshops in the fields of - Mechanical Engineering - Electrical Engineering/Software - Chemistry – Biotech - Material Science
Participants will also have an opportunity to visit the European Patent Office and attend Oral Proceedings to gain a first-hand experience of opposition proceedings before an EPO Opposition Division or Technical Board of Appeal.
Further to the extensive lectures, the seminar offers a social programme including a formal dinner, a visit to the famous Oktoberfest, a tour to King Ludwig's castle Neuschwanstein in the Bavarian Alps, and an opportunity to take a sip of beer from a 1 liter stein in the 400 years old Hofbräuhaus.
